GETTING TO KNOW THE JUNGLE | 3 DAYS / 2 NIGHTS

DAY 1
- Reception at the airport or hotel in Iquitos (9:00 am).
- Transfer by land to Nauta, 1h 40min approx.
- Brief tour of the city of Nauta, the oldest city in the Amazon region
- Transfer by river to Eywa Lodge, with stop and visit to the source of the Amazon River.
- Lunch
- Walk through the jungle to observe the impressive flora and hang from lianas.
- Sunset on the banks of the Yarapa and Ucayal rivers.
- Dinner
- Relaxation time in our facilities
- Overnight

Day 2
- Sighting of the sunrise (5:30am).
- Observation of different species of exotic birds (toucans, macaws, jacanas, sparrow hawks,...)
- Breakfast
- Hike to look for medicinal plants to learn about their use and healing properties.
- Walk into the jungle in search of sloths and different types of monkeys (owl, pygmy marmoset, saki monk, squirrel, howler, woolly monkey,...)
- Lunch
- Boat excursion and fishing for piranhas, permit and sardines (optional)
- Observation of pink and grey dolphins (and swim with them if desired)
- Dinner
- Night excursion in search of giant lizards, tarantulas, giant frogs, nocturnal birds and listening to the sounds of the jungle.
- Overnight

DAY 3
- Breakfast
- Visit to the local community to learn about their customs and culture.
- Sample of handicraft making
- Walk in the village and surroundings
- Lunch
- Transfer to Iquitos (hotel or airport)
